Sunrise Paddle

A trip to watch the sunrise.

Sea Kayaks only please . Head torches are a must and glow sticks if you have them.
Skill:Intermediate.
Unload at the Jolly Sailor then park at Daisy’s car park no cash.
There is a long portage to start so bring wheels if you have them.
Set off from Heybridge then head for Osea Island from the North side then head for the spit on the east as the sun is rising over the Blackwater.We will be setting off in the dark against the tide,have breakfast on the beach at Osea then continue circumnavigating the Island clockwise hopefully with the tide back to Heybridge, depending how long breakfast takes.
Me and Ade will be cooking bacon rolls.
The nature of the trip means it will be weather dependent,fingers crossed.
