Here’s a few resources to help with your journey

Below are a list of resources all members should find really useful

Guides for local info and river levels

  • UK Rivers Guidebook – This is a great site to gain some local knowledge of most of the waterways in the UK

  • PaddlePoints – Great site to discover new places to paddle, most have easy to follow maps to download for free!

  • River GaugeMap – Good site to find out about river levels

  • Rainchasers – again a good site for river levels – this site is especially popular with white water paddlers

  • River Predictor – similar to Rainchasers but available on the web so don’t have to download an app (good to compare against Rainchasers for an accurate reading)
  • River Dart Levels – gauge specifically for the River Dart in Devon to show whether it’s running or not
  • Navigating the Lower Thames  – a useful video from the Port of London authority for anyone paddling the tidal Thames.
