UK Rivers Guidebook – This is a great site to gain some local knowledge of most of the waterways in the UK

River GaugeMap – Good site to find out about river levels

Rainchasers – again a good site for river levels – this site is especially popular with white water paddlers
- River Predictor – similar to Rainchasers but available on the web so don’t have to download an app (good to compare against Rainchasers for an accurate reading)
- River Dart Levels – gauge specifically for the River Dart in Devon to show whether it’s running or not
- Navigating the Lower Thames – a useful video from the Port of London authority for anyone paddling the tidal Thames.
