Sunrise Paddle

Weather permitting, decision 24hrs before.
H/W 740am Sunrise 6.21am.
Meet at Heybridge outside Jolly Sailor 4.30 am ready to go. unload then sort out parking.
Timing is crucial we must be on the water no later than 5.30am.
We have a long portage to the beach near St Georges play area, about 200yds. so bring wheels if you have them. We will be setting off in the dark heading towards Osea Island for breakfast to watch the sun come up.
We generally have a cook up, bacon rolls etc.
We will be paddling against the tide on the way out and depending how long we have for breakfast may well be on the way back too.
This is a peer paddle but you will be looked after.
Boats: Sea kayaks only.
Skill set: confident.
Equipment; Head torches, glow sticks.
Dress for the weather.
