Farn islands a selection of islands off the coast of Northumerland of out standing beauty national wildlife area home of seals puffins and dolphins .
You need to book your camping the campsite has showers and good toilets we have been able to launch directly from the site trolleys needed
Seahouses town has a number of good restaurants /take aways with camping in July we have extended light in the evenings which helps when cooking after a long paddle, and early light which helps us getting out.
We should all be ready to depart from the campsite by 9am (times may very) paddles finish about 4pm again this varies.
Trips vary depending on conditions winds and tides ,worth taking walking boots in case of poor weather. Some trips will be long so worth getting fit for these or chose a rest or sight seeing day, or river paddle.
Its often beneficial to sort kayaks on correct cars and equipment out the night before.
This is not a beginner trip you need to be able to paddle at a proficient level and be able to complete 15-20 miles per day (Bradwell to Maldon distances)There are limited spaces this also depends on how many other sea leaders sign up, please confirm with Clive for available spaces.
