Maldon loop
Starting Beeleigh Falls.Langford CM9 6LL ///configure.plans.cleanser.
Total distance approx 9 miles.
Date 22/1/23
Arrival time 9:00 am be in the water for 9.30am
Approx. finish time 1:00 pm
Open to what level paddler; ideal for intermediate paddlers
Type of boat; Touring, Cross Overs /Sea kayaks.No small boats because of distance.
Meet location; Beeleigh Falls.
If you have wheels you can store in or on your boat please bring them.
Lunch and drink needed.
Section 1;Paddle down the Chelmer canal towards Heybridge, approx 3 miles, here we have a long portage 200 yds,to the beach opposite ST Georges Play Area ///robes.daytime.collect.
Section 2;Open water,River Blackwater circumnavigate Northey Island clockwise,Approx 3 miles.
Section 3;Home straight continue on the Blackwater towards Maldon Esplanade/River front to finish back at Beeleigh.Approx 3 miles.
We shall be having a short break at each section.
