Pool Session

This will be our last pool session of the year, so we’re doing something a little different!

Following our Maldon Canoe Club AGM in the afternoon, and as a thank you to our members for another great year, we’re making this pool session completely FREE – including club boat hire.

Rather than our usual pool session, this evening will be all about games, competitions and having some fun on the water.

Let’s make the last pool session of the year a good one!

🎟️ Booking is Still Required

Although the session and club boat hire are FREE, everyone attending must still book their place through WebCollect.

👨‍👩‍👧 Under 17s

U17s are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Please contact us beforehand if an U17 requires a club boat so we can make sure we have a suitable-sized kayak available.

⏰ Arriving at the Pool

Please arrive at 6:20pm ready for the pool session to start at 6:30pm.

Please enter the leisure centre through the furthest fire exit around the building, which is where we take the boats into the pool and where you will be signed in.

Please do not use the main front entrance.

At the end of the session, please leave through the same door you entered.

Changing rooms and showers are available.

🏊 During the Session

The pool may be divided into two areas depending on numbers and the activities taking place.

Club coaches will be available both poolside and in kayaks.

Should an incident occur during the session, the coaches will take control and provide rescue or advice as appropriate.
