Maldon Canoe Club Private Kayaking Session Suitable for competent paddlers new to white water and experienced paddlers as paddling on the Legacy Course(not Olympic site).

This is a great opportunity to paddle the legacy with out an assessment.

Coaches will be on hand to train, support, and help you on the day.  Bank safety will be provided. It’s a man-made white water course, its been designed to be safe for those who want to learn to paddle on white water. It will be a great day out with lots of fun. (Not suitable for sea kayaks or canoes).

Boats are available for hire if you don’t have one – please contact the centre directly to hire a boat. Tel: 0300 003 0616.

We have 30 spaces but spectators are unlimited. Families welcome to come and watch, enjoy – The site has paths to walk and a cafe with facilities and free parking for those using the centre. Contact a committee member if any questions about what to bring Suitable wet gear.

Requirements Must have helmet and Buoyancy Aid.

Please remove all straps from your kayak

If your a beginner or haven’t paddled white water before please speak to the organiser before booking.

Itinerary Arrive early, have a walk around the facilities, look at the white water route. We shall meet kitted up 15 mins before our session opens outside reception.
