DESCRIPTION:22nd Aug 5.30pm-6.30pm \nMaldon Canoe Club Private Kayaking Session Suitable for competent paddlers new to white water and experienced paddlers as paddling on the Legacy Course(not Olympic site). \nThis is a great opportunity to paddle the legacy with out an assessment. \nCoaches will be on hand to train\, support\, and help you on the day.  Bank safety will be provided. It’s a man-made white water course\, its been designed to be safe for those who want to learn to paddle on white water. It will be a great day out with lots of fun. (Not suitable for sea kayaks or canoes). \nBoats are available for hire if you don’t have one – please contact the centre directly to hire a boat. The rest of the trip will be tide assisted. DESCRIPTION:📅 Saturday 28th November 2026\n🕟 4:00pm\n📍 South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre \n\nOur Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 4:00pm\, ahead of our free Fun & Games pool session later that evening. \nPlease ask at reception when you arrive and they will direct you to the meeting. \n\n👥 All Members Welcome\nAll Maldon Canoe Club members are invited and encouraged to attend. \nThe AGM is your opportunity to have your say on the future of the club\, hear what’s been happening over the past year and help shape what we’d like to achieve in the year ahead. \nThere will also be the opportunity to vote on club decisions and the election of committee members. \n🙋 Fancy Getting More Involved?\nWe’re always pleased to hear from members who would like to get more involved with the club. \nYou don’t necessarily have to take on a major role. DESCRIPTION:🎄Christmas Paddle & Meal – Saturday 12th December\nJoin us for our annual Maldon Canoe Club Christmas Paddle and Meal at Maylandsea. \nHigh Water: 2:30pm\nMeet: 11:00am\nOn the water: 12:00pm \nThe Paddle\nWe’ll be enjoying a sheltered paddle around the bay at an easy and relaxed pace. The exact route will depend on the weather and conditions on the day\, with plenty of options available. \nAll suitable boats are welcome\, although sea kayaks and touring kayaks are preferred.
